Marta is a personal trainer, a musician, teacher and author. She loves to share her joy and excitement for life with others.

A fitness enthusiast, Marta has been swimming and working out regularly for many years. She was aware of the need for people to keep in shape as they go through life to maintain their strength, flexibility and balance, and she wanted to help. As a result, Marta got certified as a personal trainer  through the W.I.T.S. organization, a highly respected leader in the fitness industry. She works individually with clients in her private gym at her home in Stone Ridge, NY.

As a musician, Marta plays synthesizer on "Ascension," the newly released album by Ra's Pyramid. Collaborating with guitarist Larry Seyer, together they created music that takes the listener on a magical, musical journey to a land of exotic, mystical places. Marta is very excited to have this wonderful music be available to everyone. She also is the keyboardist for the band Lunar Figurine, the music of her son Michael Wilcock. In addition, she accompanies silent films at the Rosendale Theatre.

A dedicated and enthusiastic teacher, Marta gives lessons in popular singing, piano and composition at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY and at her home in Stone Ridge, NY.

She speaks French and a little  Mandarin and Italian, and is fascinated by the ways in which people express themselves. She offers lessons in French at her home, providing a comfortable and supportive environment for learning.

An author, in 2012 Marta released her first book "Dream, Believe, Create," about creating the life of your dreams. In 2016 she published a book about Robert Adsit, a very creative artist and musician who has had an enormous influence on her life and music. That book is entitled "The Art and Life of Robert J. Adsit." Both books are available on this site.

An actor as well, she has played various characters with Murder Cafe dinner shows. Marta also plays one of Jane Fonda's friends in the 2011 movie "Peace, Love and Misunderstanding." She is a background actor and body double in the horror film "Late Phases," and appears in several other films as well.
