Marta has enjoyed an active life, recognizing that maintaining her physical wellbeing is deeply connected to improving her productivity and emotional health. As an avid swimmer, weight trainer, yogini and jogger for over 41 years, she continually feels energized and has a strong sense of self sufficiency and empowerment.
Having realized that she wanted to share this passion for fitness with other people, Marta worked with W.I.T.S. (World Instructor Training School) to obtain two levels of certification as a personal trainer. She is now able to offer her skills to other people so they can pursue the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, and she continues to study and learn more about specific challenges that people face, such as diabetes.
She customizes her coaching specifically to each person, tailoring exercises and routines to meet each individual's goals and needs. Clients work with Marta using dumbbells, resistance bands, stability balls and medicine balls, all in a setting that is calm and supportive. Everyone's fitness routine is as unique as they are. Marta is very careful to be certain that her clients do not get hurt, so each person can be secure in knowing that their health and well-being are paramount.
As an older adult, Marta is compassionate and understanding of the needs of seniors, and she enjoys working with individuals of all ages to improve their health and their ability to do the daily activities of life. In a culture which has become increasingly sedentary, Marta can help everyone to enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle as well as healthy eating.
