Fitness Coach

Marta has enjoyed an active life, recognizing that maintaining her physical wellbeing is deeply connected to improving her productivity and emotional health. As an avid swimmer, weight trainer, yogini and jogger for over 41 years, she continually feels energized and has a strong sense of self sufficiency and empowerment.  

Having realized that she wants to share this passion for fitness with other people, Marta has worked with W.I.T.S., to obtain her certification as a personal trainer. She is now able to offer her skills to other people so they can pursue the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, and she continues to learn more about specific challenges that people face. For example, she is learning how to help people with diabetes. 

She customizes her coaching specifically to each person, tailoring exercises and routines to meet an individual's goals and needs. Some clients work with Marta using dumbbells, resistance bands, strength training with or without equipment, or machines at the gym. Each person's fitness routine is as unique as they are, which is why Marta meets some clients in their homes, some at her home in Stone Ridge, and some at AM Fit in Kington, a beautiful new gym specifically built for trainers and their clients. 

As an older adult, Marta is compassionate and understanding of the needs of seniors, and enjoys working with individuals of all ages to improve their health and their ability to do the daily activities of life. In a culture which has become increasingly sedentary, Marta can help everyone to enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle and healthy eating.
